It's the first class of the new year!  We'll be making 8 Birthday cards, 2 each of the 4 designs shown above.  The cost is $20 per person and includes all supplies except adhesive.  Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, January 5th.  Payment is required to hold your spot.

Birthday Bash Stamp-a-Stack

Class kits are available and will ship within 10-14 days after payment is received.  Cost is $25 and includes shipping.  You'll receive pre-cut cardstock, envelopes, and embellishments plus a pdf file with the instructions for completing each card.  You will need the following items to complete the cards as shown.

• Bring On The Cake stamp set
• Black Staz-on ink pad
• Stampin' Write markers:  Blush Blossom, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Pear Pizzaz, Real Red, Bashful Blue
• Adhesives:  mini glue dots, SNAIL, and dimensionals recommended

6 Pages in 60 Minutes

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then you are going to LOVE my newest class, 6 Pages in 60 Minutes.  I have designed 3, 2-page 12" x 12" layouts that are simple, fun, and perfect for your summer & vacation pictures.  Most of the layouts have room for 4-5 pictures with embellishments that add to the layout and will not distract from the subject matter.

My Stamp Club members were my "test subjects" for this new class.  They finished the pages in about 1 hour, 10 minutes.  A few of the club members got creative with their kits and modified the layouts.  This one was created by Amy Harris.

And here are a few pics of everyone working on their layouts.  I think they all stood up so that they could work faster.  LOL!  I do that at home, too!

If you are unable to attend this class, there will be class kits to go available.  Kits must be ordered by April 12th and will include pre-cut card stock, ribbon, and step-by-step instructions.  You will need the Flowers Awash stamp set and some basic supplies to complete the cards as shown.  See the supply list for details.

Get Organized Class

One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to get more organized and do a better job of sending cards to friends and family.   Well, it has only taken me a month and a half to do part one of my resolution! 

I just put the finishing touches on my Forget-Me-Not keeper and now I'm ready to add some cards.  I thought it turned out so cute!  Each divider is handstamped and includes space to record birthdays, anniversaries, or other important dates.  Our beautiful rose red double stitched ribbon was added to each tab---I love how well it coordinates with the raspberry tart designer series paper!

And just wait until you see the four coordinating cards!  These are just GORGEOUS!!!

Cookbook Kits Available

Looking for some new recipes to try?  I'll be sharing my recipe for Italian Beef at the end of this post and you are invited to share your favorite recipe, too!

Due to supply issues and time constraints, I have had to cancel the class scheduled for June 28th that featured the cookbook.  Class kits ordered prior to May 28th will begin shipping tomorrow.  I will continue to accept additional orders for the class kits through June 30th, with a scheduled ship date of July 10th.

In each kit, you'll receive all the materials necessary to recreate this album at home including the album, adhesive, ribbon, and papers.  Everything has been pre-cut, stamped, and punched.  All you need is a pair of scissors and a coloring medium such as markers, pastels, or watercolors.

Now here is my recipe for Italian Beef.  My family usually serves this at our summer get-togethers.  It has a bit of a spicy kick, so you've been warned.

Ingredients:

Beef Roast (any cut will work, but I really like sirloin)

1 jar of slice jalepenos

1 packet of Italian Seasoning (from the salad dressing aisle)

Liquid---could be water or beer

Place first three ingredients in a slow cooker.  Add enough liquid to cover beef and cook for 8--10 hours.  Shred beef and serve on fresh hoagie rolls with cheese.  Enjoy!

More Baby Scrapbook Pages

My class is finally complete and ready to go!  I wanted to share the cover page with you.....it is an interactive page featuring a slider on the front, so you have lots of room for pictures and journaling.  Isn't it the coolest?  I learned this technique at the Creating Keepsakes convention I attended a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to scraplift the design for my Stampin' Up! pages.  The page on the left was made using the Special Delivery girl kit and the page on the right was made with Special Delivery Boy kit.  At the class on May 10th, we'll be completing 8, 12" x 12" layouts, and I'm sure you'll love them all!

You only have until Monday, May 5th to register for the class.  Cost is $35 and must be paid with your registration.  The fee includes supplies, instructions, and lunch from Fazoli's.  The class will be held at the stamp shack from 10am--4pm.
