Watercolor Birthday
January 31, 2016
Today, I am sharing a ridiculously simple birthday card. As much as I love to WOW you with my creations (wink--wink), most of the cards that I actually send to people are rather simple, especially if I need to mail the card. Well, my mom has requested that I send her a birthday card.
So, I used the Freshly Made Sketch from this week for the layout.
The background was created by using an Aquapainter and Daffodil Delight ink refill to brush on color randomly over a piece of Shimmery White card stock. After the card stock has completely dried, I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment from the Watercolor Words stamp set in Basic Black archival ink.
I added a few Itty Bitty Accents Clear Epoxy Stickers, then layered it onto a piece of Neutrals Designer Series Paper. The coordinating envelope was easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board and Brights Designer Series Paper.
You will find a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
