SSINKspiration Product Focus: Buttons

Jollychristmascu

Today on Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, we are featuring projects with BUTTONS!  Stampin' UP offers many varieties of buttons as you can see below.  You can purchase all of these in my online store.

For my card, I combined one of my favorite stamp sets (Gorgeous Grunge) with the Holly Jolly Greetings Bundle.  The colors coordinate with the Home for Christmas buttons:  Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey, and Real Red.

SSINKspiration Stamp Set Focus: For All Things

Hellofallcu

Today on Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, we are featuring cards made with the For All Things stamp set.  This set is the perfect set for all of your Fall and Thanksgiving craft projects.

Hellofall

For my card, I began by stamping the background leaves in Sahara Sand ink, stamping off first to create an even lighter shade.  Then I stamped the greeting multiple times in Mossy Meadow, Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Tip Top Taupe.  For the glitter splatter, I made a mixture of Tombow multi-adhesive and a few drops of water.  I dipped the tip of an aquapainter in the mixture and splattered it on the cardstock before sprinkling it with glitter.  The final touch is an In Color Blossom Accent (which are on special this week) and some Gold Metallic Thread.

SSINKspiration Product Focus: Embossing Folders

Sixsayingscu

I have been working non-stop on the cards for my upcoming Christmas Card Celebration on November 7th.  Unfortunately that has meant that I've severely neglected my Design Team responsibilities.  So on Monday, I took time to create exclusively for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and in a happy twist, I created a card that we will be making at my class.

 Sixsayings

For this card, I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder.  I put the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot twice with the embossing folder.  The result is a great dimensional background.

I've been very busy preparing for a mega Christmas Card Celebration next month.  In this class, we'll be making 20 different cards.  If you are local to Kokomo, Indiana, you can check out the event information HERE.  I've even posted a few sneak peeks.

Joyfulcardinal

This is one of the cards that we will be making at the Christmas Card Celebration.  I used a layout from Freshly Made Sketches for the design.

This is a great card for newbies because it features simple stamping and a minimal amount of supplies.  You can view a complete list of supplies at the end of this post.

Technique Tuesday - Watercolor Background w/ Clear Blocks

Today, on Stylin' Stampin' INKSpiration we are featuring a fun background technique.  You can see the tutorial and more samples HERE.

Watercolorwitchcu

I created my background by scribbling on a large clear block with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Rich Razzleberry markers.  Before stamping onto the paper, I spritzed the block lightly with water.

The witch and sentiment are from the Haunt Ya Later stamp set.

Witch Way

Witchwaycu

I'm back again today with another fun card using the Haunt Ya Later stamp set.  I kept it simple by using a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

FMS Final 206-001

I stamped each of the images (except the cat) directly onto the Whisper White card layer.  Then I stamped the same images onto various Designer Series Paper and card stock to create a pieced & colorful image.

Witchway

The result is a simple, yet fun Halloween card.  I've still got one more project this week that features this stamp set, so stay tuned.

The Haunt Ya Later stamp set is so adorable.  I've been using it on a lot of my Halloween projects and you'll be seeing it again this week on the blog.

I have been hoarding those little anti-bacterial hand sanitizers for a few years and THIS YEAR, I'll be making these up as thank you gifts for orders placed this month.
