Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  My fellow crafters and I have some wonderful projects in store for you this week.

The card I'm sharing for the hop was made for my husband on Valentine's day.  It is definitely not my best work, but it makes me smile.

BaconI used a cut file that I purchased from the Silhouette online store to create the bacon image and greeting.

BaconcuTo kick it up a notch, I decided to make it a tilt card.  My bacon actually shakes!

BacontutorialTilt Card tutorial in 4 easy steps:

  1. Use Circle Framelits and Big Shot to cut a circle in the middle of Whisper White card stock.
  2. Adhere a penny to the back of the bacon die cut with tombow glue and allow to dry.  Punch out a 1" circle of Basic Black card stock and adhere a penny to the center.  Once dry, apply a dimensional to each penny.
  3. Stamp card stock as desired.
  4. Peel backing off dimensionals. Place punched circle behind the opening in the Whisper White card stock.  Adhere the bacon die cut to the punched circle.

Now you have your very own Shakin' Bacon!

Princess Birthday

FrozencuFor 2 weeks, my 7-year old daughter has been talking about her friend Lily's birthday party.  I have been imparted with the knowledge that Lily no longer likes My Little Pony.  She now likes the movie FROZEN.  Bella and I had to go buy a FROZEN toy as Lily's gift, and Bella thought it would be great to wrap it in FROZEN wrapping paper and give Lily a FROZEN card.  Believe it or not, that was a tall order!

When we were unable to find a FROZEN-themed card, my daughter suggested that I make her one.  She seemed confident that I could do it.....me, not so much.

FrozenbirthdayI started with the Ice Princess Cut Its from Lettering Delights.  I then used my Stampin' Up card stock and Silhouette Cameo to piece the princess together.  Personally, I think she looks more like cold Cinderella but I gave it a shot.  ;0)FrozeninsideThe inside of the card is from a cut file that I purchased in the Silhoette online store.  I knew I would probably need it for future princess birthday cards.  I love the way it pops up and the little windows and doors open.

Quick & Easy Valentine Treats with TUTORIAL

Treats
The power of Pinterest never ceases to amaze me!  Most of the visitors to my blog the last 2 weeks have been checking out the matchbook treat holders that I created last year.

I did a written and video tutorial that you can find HERE.

Matchbooksideview

Since Stampin' Up changes it's product line frequently, the papers & stamps I used on last year's treats are no longer available and I needed to give them a fresh update.

I fill my treats with the fun size bags of M & Ms, but there are a lot of other candies that would work.  You just can't go wrong with chocolate.

What I love about this project is how quickly you can put them together.  I made 20 of the the treats in just one hour!

All of the supplies are available in my online store.

Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  My fellow crafters and I have some wonderful projects in store for you this week.

It seems like everywhere I look, people are making camera projects.  I'm not sure what started this craze, but I'm jumping on the bandwagon.

I wanted to create a simple card for my upcoming Getting Punchy class.  This card can be put together in just a few minutes, but everyone that has seen it so far has really loved it.

CameraI used the cute sentiment from the Just Sayin' stamp set.  The heart was created with the smallest heart from the Heart framelits.

CameracuThe finished card measures 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and will fit a standard A2 envelope.

Here are the details, so you can create your Wish List!
