I'm finally starting to get my voice back, so I have a new video tutorial for you today.  I absolutely love the new Stampin' Distress tool and many of my customers ordered it after we made these cards with the Feeling Sentimental stamp set.

I started with the Clean & Simple version of the card shown below:

Then, using the exact same stamps, ink, and paper, we distressed & sponged the card to give it a vintage look.

Demonstrator Shoebox Swap

This year, I have made a commitment to my downline to have more meetings and more fun!  One of the things that demonstrators really enjoy is stamping and one of the best ways to stamp is a shoebox swap.  Each demonstrator that signs up for the swap prepares a project for everyone  to create.  What is nice is that you only have one project to prep, but you walk away with a bunch of great new ideas.

Printable Valentine Coupons for you

Well, I had the best intentions of getting a new video shot and posted today.  However, I woke up with a bit of a scratchy throat and the threat of losing my voice.  My husband said I should do the video anyway....that my viewers might like my "Barry White" voice.  Um, no.

So I decided to whip up some Valentine coupons with My Digital Studio.  I plan to slip a coupon in my daughter's lunch box tomorrow, give one to my teenage son, and one to my hubby.  The kids will receive "A trip to the ice cream shop".  We don't have ice cream often, so they'll see that as a special treat.  I might also give them a "movie date with Mom" (or dad) coupon.

Best of Birthdays Chalkboard Card

As part of Stampin' Up's 25-year anniversary celebration, they are bringing back some favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will release-one set per month-during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Today, I'm using the new image from the Best of Birthdays stamp set using the Mojo Monday 279 Sketch.  You've probably seen this chalkboard technique on other cards lately.....it's a really HOT trend!

I'll have a video tutorial on this card by the end of the week.  The pretty papers are from the Patio Party Designer Series Paper pack.  I used the 1/2" circle punch to punch out a cupcake from one of the patterned papers, then adhered it inside a small soda pop top (I love these things!).

Need a little SUNSHINE?

Well, it looks like we are going to have a week of snow in my neck of the woods.  I'm not much of a cold weather gal, so I decided to bring the sunshine into my stamp room.  For the layout, I used the Mojo Monday 278 Sketch.

This card could easily be a non-traditional Valentine's Day card.  I love the little pop of color from the red heart....which happened by accident.  I had originally stamped the sun image from the Spring Sampler stamp set, but it didn't really stand out.  So, I decided to add a punched heart over the image.
