Christmas in July

I want to say a big "Thank You" to everyone that has sent their congratulations about the Artisan Award.  I'm still in shock over the whole thing and trying hard to remain calm until convention.  It's going to be a long couple of weeks!

Luckily, I still have several classes and tons of swaps to complete before I leave for Convention.  My next card class is "Christmas in July" featuring the new Chock Full of Cheer stamp set.

It's a Good Day

Last night around 8:30pm, Bella was sitting next to her daddy on the couch, playing games on my Iphone (which was on vibrate). He says "Take the phone to mommy, she's getting a call from Utah."

The next few minutes are a blur, as I found out that I am an Artisan Award finalist.  This is an amazing honor and I'm still in a bit of shock.

Stampin' Up! will announce ten Design Team members at convention next month.  I'm sure the shock will turn into another round of pins and needles soon.  The lady on the phone said that all of the finalists projects will be on display at convention.  I absolutely can't wait to see them!  And I can't wait to share my projects with YOU!

For the Boys (Part 3)

Today I'm sharing the final card from the For the Boys Stamp-a-Stack.  This card features the I Dig You stamp set and is just perfect for little boys.

Dumptruck

Check out the crystal effects on the main body of the dump truck. It gives it a super shiny look!  I also cut out the main part of the truck and popped it up with dimensionals.

Dumptruckcu

I actually created 3 different cards using the stamp set, as it would be nice to have several of these cards on hand for little boy birthdays.  The card size is 3" x 3" which is wonderful to attach to any gift.

Trucks

I hope you've enjoyed all of the masculine cards.  Check back here on Friday and I'll have information on the SUMMER SCRAPBOOK CLUB.  You are going to love it!

Happy Stampin'

It's time to share another card from my For the Boys Stamp-a-Stack.  Living near Indianapolis, I know quite a few men that are car enthusiasts.  The Need for Speed stamp set is perfect for boys who like big toys.

Carcard

The colors used on this card are Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, and Real Red.  The car image was stamped with a Black Staz-on pad, then colored with a Blender pen and Real Red ink to give it a watercolored look.

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, which coordinates perfectly with the Bitty Banners Framelits Dies.

Chevroncu

One of the first things I ordered from the new catalog is the Chevron embossing folder.  I love, love, love Chevrons and I expect you'll see me using it alot.

In fact, one of my Artisan Award projects featured a hand-crafted Chevron pattern.  I'm sitting on pins & needles as the winners will be called this week.  As much as I would love to win, I'll be okay with not winning as long as I can share my projects with you.  Creating some wonderful projects and not being able to show them to anyone is killing me!!!

I'll be back on Wednesday with the final card from the For the Boys card class.

Happy Stampin'

For the Boys Class (Part 1)

Today I held my For the Boys Stamp-a-Stack featuring masculine cards.  My customers have been requesting this class for a long time and I think that everyone in attendance really enjoyed it.  I shared the first card one month ago and you can see it here.  I'll be sharing the other 3 cards with you this week.

This card is actually my favorite from the class.  I love how simple, but striking the Tool Shed background stamp set can be!

Fathersday

The colors used on this card are Sahara Sand and Early Espresso.

Fathersdaycu
The greeting is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set and was cut out with the Big Shot and the new Apothecary Accents Framelits.  The edges were sponged with Early Espresso ink.

Buttoncu
And check out this cute button!  It is one of the new Naturals Designer Buttons and was tied on with Early Espresso Baker's Twine.

A few of my customers asked me to continue to offer the NEW catalog product samplers.  You can get more information abou the samplers here.  It is a great way to sample many of the new products with a smaller investment.

I also hope to have more information later this week about my new Summer Scrapbook Club.  For those that are wondering......I am working on a plan for my long-distance customers.  Stay tuned!
