A little early....

Today I am sharing a fabulous card made by one of my convention roommates, Holly Reinagel.  This was the first time we roomed together and it was great being in the company of such fabulous talent.  When I saw her card, my jaw dropped.  I love all things Halloween, so this was right up my alley.  Come to find out, Holly was born on Halloween and she is even more of a Halloween freak than I am!

The moon is a 1" Circle sponged with Basic Gray ink.  The Tombstone was created with the 1-3/8" square punch and extra large oval punch.  The edges wer sponged with White craft ink.  She wrote "RIP" and stamped "bad to the bone".

The punched spider was created using the following punches:

  • 1-3/4" Circle (Basic Black)
  • 3/4" Circle (Whisper White)
  • 1/2" Circle (Lucky Limeade)
  • Bird Builder Punch (branch--Basic Black)
  • Owl Builder punch (small circles--Basic Black)
  • Extra Large Oval (Basic Black)
  • 3/4" Circle (Real Red)

**To cut slivers for smile and legs, cut half circle from edge of paper (discard) and then move in (approx 1/`6" for smile and 1/8" for legs) and punch; for legs repeat six times

The Skull was created using the following punches:

  • Cupcake Builder (cupcake bottom, small circles--Whisper White)
  • Owl Builder (large & medium circles, heart)
  • Word Window (punch 4 for bones)
  • Small Heart (punch 4 for bone ends)

**Turn cupcake bottom upside down & write teeth lines.  Dust all edges with basic gray ink before assembling.
