Last Day for $99 Starter Kit

My Final Swap Card

It's hard to believe that I've been home from convention for 1 week already.  I still haven't unpacked everything and there is lots of new rubber that need some ink.  Hopefully, I'll get some stamping in this week and have some new samples to share.

On the last evening of convention, I participated in a shoebox swap with 40+ other demonstrators.  The card below is the one that I designed for the swap.

The Best Card I've Ever Made

Well, at least my husband seems to think so.  He about died when he saw it.  We've been playing a lot of angry birds at my house, and my 13-year old son is mortified when he sees his parents playing a video game.  I thought the sentiment fit perfectly for those of us that are a little older, and still prefer to be a little goofy sometimes.

There is no need to ask for directions.....I've got a downloadable pdf for you that includes all of the supplies, card stock cutting dimensions, a punch guide, and step-by-step instructions.

Let it Snow

Let me just start by saying that I don't have step-by-step instructions for this card.  So sorry!  However, there are 2 great tutorials on Splitcoaststampers (see below for links) that I followed and I am sure that you will find them very helpful if you want to recreate this card.

The Best Laid Plans....

I had a fabulous idea for a swap card using the new Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  I created my prototype and was quite pleased with how it turned out.  Unfortunately, it would have required me to punch out 5-6 pennants per card.  The problem was that I had 50 cards to make and my poor thumb has gone numb from punching borders on my other swap cards. 

      

The dimensional tree was created by folding 4 of the pennants lengthwise and adhering them together.

So, I went back to the drawing board and simplified my original design.  This time I only had to punch 2 times.  :0)

Convention Garden

So far, this year's convention has lived up to the hype.  There is a gorgeous "garden" of product displays that we have ooohed and ahhhed over all day.  I've got more photos on my Facebook page if you would like to check them out.
