New Classes Just Added!

Life has been very hectic around the Stout household lately, so I have taken some much needed time off from teaching classes this month.  I appreciate all of the phone calls and emails from my friends and customers wondering about the future of my stamping business.  Just so you love of the stamping business is greater than ever and I am now ready to tackle some new classes in February.

Speaking of tackle.....I will be having an open house on Super Bowl Sunday at the stamp shack from 2pm--4pm.  Super Bowl Sunday without the might as well STAMP!!! Stop by to see the Sale-a-bration stamp sets, view the new catalog, peruse the retired stamp sets, sign-up for classes and enjoy a free make & take. There is no charge to attend. Bring a friend not on my mailing list and receive a FREE gift.

You can view other upcoming classes on my new Stampin' Up! website.  I am also in the process of setting up a new store for you to pre-register for classes and you'll also have the option of purchasing class kits for the classes you are unable to attend.  You can check out both sites, but I will warn you that I am still working out the bugs.  If you find any problems, feel free to let me know and I'll try to get them fixed ASAP.

3" x 3" cards and yummy treats!

I love the fun size of a 3" square card.  They are perfect for sending a little note to say "hello" or "thank you" AND they can easily be transformed into a bag topper for the medium cello bags from Stampin' Up!

I also like the fact that these cards are very ECONOMICAL to make.  You can get 8 cards from 1 sheet of 12" x 12" cardstock.  The cello bags are only $4.50 for a package of 50 and Stampin' Up even has mini square envelopes to fit the cards.   It's nice to keep these items on hand in case of a stamping emergency.

Here are few Valentine's Day samples to inspire you:

Stamp Set:  Crab & Company

Cardstock:  Real Red, Whisper White, Creamy Caramel

Ink:  Basic Black, Creamy Caramel and Bashful Blue were sponged around the crab image

Accessories:  Red Gingham Ribbon, 1-1/4" circle punch, 1-3/8" circle punch, dimensionals, Real Red marker, 1/8" hole punch

Notes:  I punched 2 small holes close together to fit the stick of the blow pop.  On the inside of the card, the stick is secured under the gingham ribbon.

Stamp Sets:  Holidays & Wishes, Kisses Wheel

Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Ink:  Chocolate Chip ink cartridge and pad, Regal Rose Craft Ink

Accessories:  Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Stampin' Around handle, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, heat tool, On Board Accents, Avery Labels 8160, Hershey Nuggets, dimensionals

Notes:  I used the negative image of the heart from the On Board Accents....don't throw anything away, right?  I applied the Regal Rose craft ink to the chipboard, poured embossing powder over the heart, then heated with the heat tool to create lots of sparkle.  The labels were wheeled with the adorable Kisses wheel in chocolate chip ink.  These labels fit perfectly around the Hershey nuggets and look great.

I'll have more samples to share with you tomorrow, so please check back.

Another Sweet Treat!

A fellow demonstrator, Cambria Turnbow, designed this wonderful box for the York peppermint patties and she has a fabulous tutorial on her blog

I used Rose Red cardstock for the boxes, and the Cutie Pie Designer Series paper to accent the sides.  The heart flower is from the Happy Heart Day stamp set available in the Valentine's day bundle.

Wouldn't these be great for classroom treats?

And an order of $50 or more and request your FREE mailbox!
